Not bad Chinese. The place is in a Jewel/Osco mall so it is not easily visible from the street. Not really a place you'd like to sit and eat, most of the business is take-out or delivery.Better than most in the area since my favorite place changed hands last year.

We came here (group of 7) because American Chinese (5 minutes away) wasn't allowing us to Dine-in after 9:00, which had much better rating then this place. But this place was open till 10:00 and let us dine in. This is your classic chinese place where each meal is either hit or miss, they are either really good at making it or it doesn't taste good. My food was good, except they didn't make it spicy. Also, they make it all in front of you! And it's so hot when they bring it to you, you'll burn your tongue, so be careful! The crab ragoon/rolls and fried shrimp were really good! Except, my fried shrimp which was under the appetizer menu came after my meal. Their fried rice is slightly oily, but not extremely oily. My friends really liked the sesame chicken and surprisingly, all of us finished our food. Only 1/7 didn't like their food and the rest of us did but we were all super hungry. ASK FOR THEIR PORTION SIZE, because two people can def share one of their meals.

Very fresh great tasting food also good portions. Love the sweet and sour shrimp the sauce is very amazing. The shrimp fried rice was perfect. And the almond cookies are the best I've ever eaten. Fast service. This was the first time I went there and it won't be the last it's now are place of choice.

It's pretty decent take-out Chinese food for the area. I order from here about three times a month and my food is always good. I love the sweet and sour chicken and the vegetable low mien. The fried rice and egg rolls aren't so great though.

had some chinese food delivered to my house. delivery service was good because it didn't take too long but they also did not give me a time frame when I called. I ordered shrimp egg foo young, house special lo mein, house special fried rice, egg drop soup and crab rangoons. I enjoyed the crab Rangoon and the lo mein. the fried rice was just so-so, but not bad. I didn't like the egg foo young at all. it was lacking shrimp and was a bit overcooked. A lot of it was wasted since I can only eat the middle part due to the burned outside. I would order the noodles and crab Rangoon again but I'd stay away from the shrimp egg foo young.

Small run down eatery that took too long to get my food. He broccoli didn't taste fresh and the beef dish was somewhat tangy. Not be of my favorite carry put places.

I didn't expect it to be great. Nor did I expect it to be terrible. I was right. So there's some consolation in me being smart. Of all the years I've lived in and around Franklin Park, I never opted to order from here. China Gate was literally right across the street, and they're awesome. So I never felt the need. But when I received a menu in the mail from Peking, I decided "why not?" I ordered the beef with garlic sauce and an order of chicken wings. Now here comes my only real crit. Both items were indicated on the menu to be spicy. WRONG. Usually when Chinese places promise hot and spicy, they come through. So I was a bit surprised. And some places even include a little cup of some soft of red pepper paste for an extra kick. That would have done wonders. But no such luck. Next time I well have to encourage them to bear up and load that food up with fire. I'm not a puss. If my nose isn't running during the meal, I will not be satisfied. But other than this, no other complaints. The egg roll was large and good. The pork fried rice was actually above average. Very tasty. The beef w/garlic sauce was pretty standard but very hearty. They took my order accurately and delivery was fast. "Standard" pretty much sums up my opinion of Peking. But when you're just too tired to cook or even leave the house to hunt for food, standard sometimes gets the job done.

The go to place for us in Franklin Park, when it comes to Chinese food. The staff is friendly, and the orders are right every time. Not a place you want to stay and eat as the dining area hasn't been updated in a while, and if that's your only impression of the place, would probably turn you away. The food has always been great and the delivery is always hot and fresh. Highly recommended.

This place is awesome for delivery. I'll order from here a few times a month with my coworkers. The person who answers the phone is courteous, takes your order correctly, customizes your food any way you want it. There are some very good lunch specials which are good value. They deliver super fast! I've had quite a few of their lunch specials and I've ordered off the regular menu and have enjoyed everything so far. The soups are pretty good although sometime they have way too much stuff and not enough broth. I was sick and wanted more broth. I should of ordered it that way cause they would of made sure to make it that way. The spring rolls are pretty good too. I had the special chow fun yesterday which included chicken, shrimp and pork and thin noodles and veggies. It had a very tame flavor, just like I want it for the holidays, I'd prefer my heart burn with the home cooking that I'll be enjoying instead. This is a pretty decent place for the area, they're fast and delicious.

Good food and very friendly people. I've been ordering from this place for several years. Their prices are very resonable. They deliver and have pick-up. I highly recommend the crab rangoon. You get about 8 large pieces for under $5. It is some of the best I've had.

Food is decent. The big plus is this though....I arrived 1 hour before close as watched them make my food. They chopped pork of the loin to add to my soup, and made everything else in front of me. No questions on what I was eating or how fresh. No soup sitting with meat and wontons in it for hours. Made to order. Nice work Peking!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
